Like all NASCAR events, attendees at Watkins Glen International are expected to follow the guidelines set by event organisers. Here’s a quick overview of the key rules to keep in mind:
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, items that could cause damage, disrupt the event, or pose safety risks are strictly prohibited. This includes unauthorised merchandise or tickets intended for resale. All attendees will be subject to a security check upon entry. Anyone who refuses to comply with these procedures may be denied admission without a refund.
Please note that certain items are not allowed within the event grounds. The list of prohibited items includes, but is not limited to:
Note that no smoking is allowed within the venue!
To keep your race day simple and stress-free, it’s best to pack light and bring only the essentials. Key items to have with you include your phone, some cash or a credit/debit card, a portable charger for your camera or phone, and your ticket for each day you plan to attend. Don’t forget to bring a valid photo ID for yourself and for any kids with you, just in case it’s needed.
Bag policy
Each guest is allowed to bring up to two (2) bags through the admission gates. Acceptable items include backpacks, diaper bags, clutches, and fanny packs, as long as they don’t exceed 18" x 18" x 14" in size.
One (1) soft-sided cooler per person is also allowed, with a maximum size of 14" x 14" x 14". Coolers may contain ice.
You can bring a combination of the approved items listed above, but each guest is limited to one cooler.
Please be aware that all bags and coolers are subject to inspection at the gate. Any prohibited items must be taken back to your vehicle before entering.
Service animals
Watkins Glen International welcomes service dogs that assist guests with visual or other disabilities. Service animals are permitted on the property but must be leashed or harnessed at all times. Guests are responsible for bringing their own waste bags and cleaning up after their service dogs. If needed, guests with service animals may request wheelchair-accessible seating to help ensure comfort and safety for both themselves and their service dog.
