The season ends with a playoff format involving 16 drivers, culminating in a four-driver championship race. Iconic events like the Daytona 500 and Coca-Cola 600 are part of the Cup calendar, and the series is known for its intense competition and large fan base.

While many races feature rising talents, some Cup Series drivers also compete in Xfinity races, adding to the challenge and excitement. The series plays a key role in developing future stars of NASCAR.
